I am extremely honored to work here at Windcrest!  My goal is to work alongside Mrs. de Lemos, all staff, and parents to nurture and improve the academic, social, and emotional development of each of our students.  My philosophy is knowing and truly believing that all students have the potential to reach for the stars. 

 This year will be the beginning of my 9th year in education. I joined NEISD in 2013 as a 3rd grade teacher at Walzem Elementary.  I also taught 5th grade and recently was in the role of 3rd-5th Reading Instructional Coach.  I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (2013) as well as my Masters in Educational Leadership (2017) both from UTSA. Go Roadrunners!

I am originally from Crystal City, TX.  The Army brought my family to San Antonio in 2008.  I have been married to my husband, Jesus, for 18 years.  We have two children, Jewlian (recent Madison HS graduate) and Mikaela (incoming Madison Freshman).  I recently learned that I had a green thumb.  Gardening and yard work are the new hobbies I participate in.  I also gave in to purchasing a Cricut and started to personalize items. However, I still need more practice.
